KuCoin Wallet has completed the integration of Avalanche C-Chain, enabling users to manage all assets on the network and explore a wealth of Avalanche-dApps easily and securely.
Follow the tutorial below to learn what Avalanche is and how to use it in KuCoin Wallet.
What is Avalanche?
Avalanche is one of the most sustainable ecosystems and its revolutionary consensus protocol and novel Subnets enable Web3 developers to easily launch highly-scalable solutions. The key features of Avalanche are high throughput capacity, short transaction finality, and its consensus protocol.
Avalanche consists of multiple networks, including:
- X-Chain: the exchange chain used for simple transactions
- P-Chain: the platform chain for staking and validators
- C-Chain: the smart contract chain for users to interact with dApps
Among them, C-Chain is EVM-compatible. Most Avalanche DeFi platforms work on the C-Chain and users can interact with various dApps through this chain in KuCoin Wallet.
The Avalanche ecosystem includes a range of dApps, including decentralized exchanges, DeFi platforms and NFTs. To perform any kind of transaction on Avalanche, you will need sufficient quantities of AVAX in your wallet. AVAX is the native token of Avalanche, which is used to maintain the security of the network with validator staking rewards and transaction fees. AVAX serves as the base unit of account on the Avalanche network, provides the base security guarantees, pays for operations, and provides a wide suite of utility services.
Please update your KuCoin Wallet on PC and mobile to the latest version. Then start using the Avalanche network in KuCoin Wallet.
